Vegetarian Sambal Recipe (Serves 2)

What you will need:

  • 90g Mama Tan’s Sambal Paste
  • 1 medium white onion (slice)
  • 150g broccoli (cut into small florets)
  • 1/2 pack baby sweetcorn (cut in half)
  • 150g firm tofu (cut into bite size and deep fry until golden brown)
  • 1/2 aubergine (cut in bite size chunks)
  • 1/2 pack fine beans (cut in half)
  • 6-7 pieces okra (cut in half) (optional)
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 1 tbsp. light soy sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil

To prepare:

1. Heat oil in a hot wok or frying pan. Fry onion and aubergine for 2 minutes, then add Mama Tan’s Sambal Paste, water, fine beans, broccoli florets, baby sweetcorn, fried tofu and cook for a further 2 – 3 minutes or until it's cooked.
